I got Misty in May 2018 in SC when she was abandoned by a family member. I took her with me to MS where I lived. Moved from MS to VA, which traumatized the rabbit. I have been traveling back and forth from VA to SC to care for my dad after his heart surgery in October. Boarding fees are untenable - $18/day, and so leave her with the vet for at least four days at a time. Leaving her over Christmas will cost nearly $300, which I cannot afford. More importantly, Misty needs space to run, explore, and chew up things; she was able to do that in my MS apartment, but the landlord in VA installed new carpet and I will have to replace it. In addition, she has chewed cords to my computer and vacuum (both of which, thankfully, were unplugged). Misty needs a home where she will be loved and cared for. She 'resents' me for her confinement, but I cannot afford to care for her anymore and I do not have a lot of 'free time' to spend with her. I do not regret taking her in because she would have died had I not rescued her; unfortunately, my job/income/living space precludes me from keeping her much longer, especially since I will spend approximately $300 just for her to be boarded over the holidays. Please give Misty a new, loving home.
