About Lily

Look at that face! Lily is a 2.5 year old, 75 lb Golden Retriever who became a Stinker when her family decided they couldn't dedicate the necessary time to her. Lily has a lot of energy! She is working on her manners and loves to please. Some of her favorite things.....a squeaky tennis ball, nose rubs, attention, and treats of any kind. She can be a little mischievous, she'll grab a shoe out of the closet, or a remote off the table, never chews anything, just thinks she's playing. So she requires supervision at all times right now. Potty training is a work in progress, but is improving. Lily gets along with other dogs and really enjoys playing with them. I think she would do well with school age children. She loves a bath, is doing great on leash, sleeps well in her crate, and thinks she's a lap dog, lol! Lily needs an active family, her breed demands it! She is still puppy-like in many ways. A strong handler is a must! Lily has a Grade 1 heart murmur, which is causing no issues at this time and the vet says is hardly detectable. Our hope is it will never cause her a problem, but that is a possibility down the road. Lily will require a fenced yard. If you fit the bill, Lily would love to meet you!
