About Dez

Hey guys! My name is Dez and I'm a 1 1/2 year old Boxer/American Bulldog mix. I was found abandoned by some good people, but they couldn't keep me so they reached out to Critter Crusaders and, of course, Critter Crusaders came to my rescue!! I was skin and bones but I'm putting weight on and looking really good. I'm sweet as I am handsome. I get along with all dogs and humans. I may be a little rambunctious for small children. I like to chase cats around to try and play with them. I sure wouldn't hurt them. I need a strong hand that will teach me manners and show me whose boss. A fenced in yard is a must for me to be able to play and run safely. If you are active and want an active buddy to hang out with, I'm your guy. I just got neutered and my tail has been amputated. Have you ever heard of ' happy tail'? My tail wagged non stop and has broken open from hitting it on objects. I'll be better with no tail because it was like a whip and I knocked a lot of things over with it. I'm up to date on vaccines, had a heartworm test and have had flea and heartworm prevention. I'm eager to learn and please. I would make a great play mate for a younger dog or a great playmate for an active human. A veterinary reference and a home visit are both required. Upon adoption, an adoption agreement must be read and signed. I'm fun, goofy, and very loving! Let's meet and have some fun!
