About Izzy

Hi, my name is Izzy. I'm a Pitbull or Pitbull mix. I'm around three and a half years old and weigh about 37 pounds. I have lived with my current owner since late October of 2018. It was suppose to be my forever home, however a recent incident with my Beagle brother changed my situation. My owner has made the heartbreaking decision to find me a new attentive and loving home. I believe I have some obsessive behaviors (my Beagle brother) and may have some anxiety issues. In the beginning I was not comfortable around men, but in the past year I have improved. I definitely don't like other dogs though. I don't really like to be alone and I am very sweet with my human family. While I do fairly well with my neighbor's kids I don't think I would do well in a house with small children. I am very comfortable using my kennel and I have gotten better at waiting for my food. I love going for rides in the car and I am a calm and quiet passenger while wearing my seatbelt harness. Although I enjoy running around my backyard like a crazy girl, I am quite the relaxed sunbather who also adores long walks. So long story short, I am a sweet girl who definitely needs some help becoming the dog I know I can be.
