About Theodore

Meet the lovable Theodore! Theodore is shyer than his friend, Alvin. He loved flopping down in the grass and soaking up the sun. He could use work on basic commands because, well, he didn't want to get up! We just let him snooze and laid next to him in the grass. He was nervous at first, but opened up around Alvin. He loves playing with him and being near him . He and Alvin both have gorgeous silver coats that don't photograph well. You'll just have to meet them in person to see! 11/2/19 (S)- Alvin & Theodore are male Shar Pei mixes. Approximately 3-4 yrs old. Alvin weighs 54.4 lbs & Theodore weighs 62 lbs. Available 11/10/19. They were found on West La Hwy 82 in Abbeville. Alvin received vet care. Cost---$138.50. Physical Exam-- Entropion of the left dorsal eyelid and what appears to be granulation tissue on the dorsal 2/3 of the cornea. It is suspected that the granulation tissue present has formed secondary to chronic corneal irritation/inflammation from the entropion. He will need the entropion corrected for long term resolution of ocular issues. *Please note this animal is not with AAVA - we are networking for rescue as the liaison for the shelter* This baby is in a kill shelter in Abbeville, LA which does not allow public adoptions.
