Adopted from five acres animal shelter in August 2019. He was very loving, a leaner. He was afraid of everything-cars, noises, outside. Very weak, underfed, curious. We took excellent care of him, walked him, played ball, car rides, dog park, great nutrition, love galore. He became increasingly aggressive and unpredictable. Especially towards people. We couldn't have friends over. It became very hard to walk him. After several scary circumstances with him, final straw was when he bit and pinned down a staffer at his boarding/training facility. Alarming! We had to relinquish him back to five acres but they claim to have no space. So he's at st charles animal control as of Monday 12/16. Five acres says they will take him when they have room but I question that. Feels like they are not interested in taking on the situation. Please help! He's sweet, funny, loving, not terribly smart. Hoping he finds another chance after was must have been a really difficult start for him in life. We tried but were unsuccessful in providing him what he needed to overcome his mistrust.
