About Luna

Luna is an almost 16 week old brindle pure bred Plott Hound (without papers). She is quite energetic and great with other dogs, however, we have unfortunately found that she is not good with small children and for this reason we want to find a loving home for her with just adults or a family with teenage children at minimum. She is trained to sleep in her crate through the night and does not mess her crate. During the day she needs a strict schedule for potty time or she will potty in the house if given a chance to sneak away. She knows sit, easy and we have been working on leave it. Luna needs someone with experience training intelligent dogs like Luna and someone who has lots of time to devote to her training. She is quite a cuddly baby when it comes time for naps. It is absolutely breaking my heart to part with Luna, but I know it would be selfish of me not to allow her the chance to have a home where there are not small children to make her anxious and where she can have the proper training to help her live up to the potential I know she has. Adoption fee of $200 to ensure she goes to a good and serious home. She will be needing her rabies vaccination soon.
