About Lucky

I found this poor sweetheart digging through my garbage cans. He had been living in the woods for a while and is so thin it is heartbreaking! He is well behaved and gentle. I have other dogs and kids and he has gotten along with them beautifully. I have taken him to the vet for a checkup and he has gotten a clean bill of health. The vet said he has had a rough life but no heart worms, mange, or anything that a little food and love won't fix. He is not scared of people at all and seems to be pretty smart. I don't believed he has been abused but just has had no one to take care of him. I have him on a high calorie diet and can already see improvement in him in just the three days I have had him. I think he has some hound in him because he barks like a beagle and LOVES to tree squirrels. I would estimate his weight at around 20 lbs. Would love to get him into a good forever home because I just can't keep him. I am at max animal capacity at my house.
