About Bitey

Here we go again. I am fighting a life threatening heart condition, but apparently God wants to take my mind off of it to focus on little lives in danger. I have lived a year past the doctor's predictions, but heart symptoms are getting worse. I'm trying to do as much good on this earth as a can before I go. Luckily treatments and force of will, have so far, kept me alive. I guess God still needs me to do some more before I go. After getting 4 abandoned cats rehomed, there was another litter of 4 whose mother had abandoned them. It took over 3 months to get them to trust me and now they are ready for their new lives. Less than 5 months old, these little guys are living in the brush around our apartments, many of the tenants have complained when they get on their cars and leave paw prints, threatening to poison and kill them. My complex has given me two months to find all four of them homes before they will be captured and euthanized. The little guys just learned how it feels to be patted and it's hilarious! They love it, but it confuses them. Bitey was first to let me pet him and now he can't get enough love. He will lightly bite when he gets overstimulated or when you aren't patting him enough. He will lightly bite and pull my hand toward him and away from his brothers or sister, so he can get the attention. It's just adorable. I haven't got them spayed or neutered yet because to do it cheaper, I have to take them in as feral and they clip their ears. They are so beautiful, I wanted to wait, desperately hoping to give them homes and moms and dads, financially stable enough to easily afford the spay and neuter costs, or smart enough to take them to a low cost vet. Either way, they must be fixed on adoption. The fee will be paid to rescue me. They do amazing work and I am so thankful for them. This isn't free to maintain the site and provide this service. There are 3 brothers and a little girl, which I will all post. Please consider helping them. They may not be good inside only, unless you have a big home and wanted two of them so they could play. They'd be good inside/outside cats or good outside mousers and critter getters, but they need to have a warm safe place to go and clean water and food. I think they'd be wonderful playmates for WELL ADJUSTED children who were taught to value and respect life. The animal abuse today is out of control with these monsters posting their torture on Instagram! so please respond and help save their little lives if you can.
