About Leo

Hello, my name is Leo. I am 6 years old and weigh about 55 pounds. We think I am a shepherd/beagle mix. I am very sweet and like to please those that take care of me. I love car rides and get super excited to go on a walk. I feel protective of my people when I'm outside of my house. I get along well with the dog that I live with but when I've met unfamiliar dogs, I can get upset. If I could get to know a new dog, perhaps we could be friends. We are unsure if I would be good with cats. I take daily medicine for a minor medical condition that I have and for anxiety. I don't like to be in a crate, but my foster family has found that I'm a good dog and can be trusted when left outside the crate. I would love a fenced yard so I can go outside at times and sit in the sun and explore. I would like if my adopter could be home often so I won't be alone for long periods of time. I think I'd be best with adults and older children. Thank you for considering me!'
