About Campari

OUT OF STATE ADOPTIONS: We do allow out-of-state adoptions for ADULT dogs, however, the adopter MUST come to Houston to get the dog and take the dog home with them. We do not allow our dogs to be shipped. Also, our puppies can only be adopted to the immediate Houston vicinity as it takes 4 months to get them completely vetted at our vet here in Houston. We will not allow our dogs/puppies to be adopted out of the area without being spayed/neutered. We spay/neuter puppies at 4 months old. Fun, friendly gal with a love of life, yummies, and people seeks her match. I play well with dogs, cats and kids. I'm a fan of toys that squeak and comfy beds. I'm a quick learner and know sit, no, come and drop it. I'm working on potty training and know that I go to my crate for bed time and when foster mom goes to work or needs to run errand s. I'm a perpetually happy girl who is good at sharing her toys, food and people. I'm going to be a big girl (I'm 37 lbs at 5 months!) and have a moderate energy level. I enjoy a good romp in the backyard, maybe some fetch, followed by an evening playing quietly with my toys or snuggling. Foster mom says I'm a mix of lab and Great Dane. My fur is soft and wavy down my back to my little nub tail. You can tell when I'm happy because my nub starts to wiggle and then the wiggles go to my tushie and all the way up to my head. When I'm happy I just have to wiggle all over! I'm happy a lot. If your application is approved, a meeting can be arranged. Also, we only adopt young puppies locally due to the 4 month time frame it takes to get them fully vetted and altered. SPAY/NEUTER: As we believe proper healthcare of one's pet is a requirement of good ownership K-9 Angels Rescue only adopts out dogs that have been fully vetted. If the dog being adopted is not already altered at the time of their adoption, the dog will be altered within 2 weeks of adoption at our vet at our cost, with the exception of puppies which will be altered as soon as the puppy is ready.
