About Leo

Leo is my baby that I have had since he was bottle fed! He is 4.5 years old and very high energy. He can be food aggressive and needs to be fed and given treats/bones separately from other animals. He is a one family kind of dog and can seem mean and scary to those that he doesn't know. Once he knows you though he remembers you and is just fine and wants all the Lovings. He bit our daughter on the cheek several years ago because she was messing with him while he had his bone with him. She had to get many stitches. We got a trainer and worked with both of them and now they get along fine. Because he can be food aggressive though I would recommend that he go to a home that doesn't have any children under 15. He needs a lot of love and attention. He's a big baby. He has been digging out of our fence here recently though and I am worried about him getting out of the yard and hurting the neighbors that he doesn't know. He needs a home with lots of land to run around on if possible and a really good fence to keep him contained when needed. I don't want to give him up but may have to due to our current situation. I will want complete info from anyone interested in him and will definitely not let him go to just anyone. I have to know that you will give him a better life than I can.
