About Tom Sawyer

We received an SOS for this gentle giant. Roaming about in a rural area outside of San Antonio, we were told he would be shot if he did not leave the property. Thankfully, he was able to be brought into SNIPSA and immediately placed into foster care. With his life completely turned upside down, this once stray outside dog is learning how great it is to be part of a family. Tom Sawyer is so appreciative and loving. He loves a good morning snuggle while you're sipping on your coffee and will lay by your side on a lazy Sunday afternoon. Tom Sawyer gets along fine with other dogs-he hasn't quite figured out how to play with them but he enjoys sitting beside them and letting them teach him how to 'dog'.
