Roman was found by a Good Samaritan in Desert Hot Springs, Ca in July, wandering the streets with badly burned feet. Good Sam took him to vet, who scanned him for a chip. Owners did not want him back. Roman is sweet, gentle and low energy, happy to snuggle on the couch all day and night. He loves squeaky toys, and run with them for 10 minutes, then back to snooze time. Roman is calm, very smart, and trainable. He needs to be an only dog. He and our resident female Bull Terrier got along well, until she snarked at him over some food and there was a scuffle. Attempts for reintroduce them did not go well, so he needs to be an only dog. He needs a securely fenced yard, as he is an escape artist and runner, which is why his previous owners did not want him back. Roman is 48 pounds and leggy. Please help this sweet boy find his forever home.
