About Patrick

This is Patrick! He's about 10 - 12 month old, American Staffordshire Terrier / Mastiff Mix and weighs about 75 lbs. He has been neutered, current on all vaccines, potty trained, healthy with the exception of environmental allergies for which he does currently take medication for because his belly and ears will flare up if he doesn't take it. He is a big cuddle bug and loves affection. He does adore other dogs and is very interested in cats (they not so much in him!), however we recommend he start off as an only pet. Patrick does need someone who knows about his breed and can help him with training. He's always 'on alert', likes to pull on a leash and can be dog reactive. Using a martingale collar has helped a lot. He has gotten mouthy and reactive with my men and a bit with a 13 yr old boy, we don't know if it's because he may have had a bad experience men.�%A0 We know he has the potential to be a great dog, he just needs someone who is experienced and understands he'll need some work.
