About Sophie

Meet Sophie! This chunky girl is looking for an exercise partner. Maybe someone to help get your New Year's Resolution off the ground?--it's right around the corner! Sophie is 2 years old and weighs 97lbs (although she needs to shed a few)! She is a social butterfly who greets people with a wiggling butt. Sophie has lived with children and has nice manners in the home. She can be selective with other dogs, but has done well meeting dogs here at the shelter. She loves to play in water!! You are encouraged to make every effort to visit the shelter for a meet and greet. Staff available to assist. You can walk on the trails and interact in the play yards. Unless otherwise noted, we can not say if a dog does well with cats, livestock or chickens or with the dogs you may already have in your home or at dog parks. So please, if you have a dog, please arrange to bring for a meet and greet. Current vaccinations, spayed or neutered and micro chipped. Available at the Josephine County Animal Shelter 1420 Brookside Blvd. Grants Pass, across from the Grants Pass Airport. You are encouraged to call the shelter at 541 474-5458.
