About Dallas

We can say one thing for sure about Dallas, she is one unique beauty!! As far as her breeds, that is all a good guess, and there have been many. Possibly she has some Norwegian Elkhound in her with her fluffy curled tail. Perhaps some Dutch Shepard with that striking brindling throughout her coat? We really cannot say, we have not done a DNA on her. Dallas came from a home where she lived with Sasha, the little Chihuahua also in our care. Sasha and Dallas are great dogs but they were simply too stressed in a shelter situation. We are not sure why they were given up but both girls are very happy, playful, social and downright silly! They love life and cannot get enough of it, everyday is just more fun! Dallas loves to play with dogs of all shapes and sizes. She especially loves the Min Pins in our foster home, they feel the same way about Dallas. When they aren't wrestling and kissing they curl up for a good nap. Dallas is a very active girl and is going to need a very active family as well. She stays busy most of the day and will NOT do well in a home that plans on leaving her home alone or crated for several hours a day. Yes, we know there are some wonderful, loving and magnificent homes with people that have to work longer hours, but Dallas is just not the dog for your home. We see many dogs that are given up by families because the energy level was too much to handle for a busy family. Dallas is also very sweet, gives kisses, is incredibly smart and well mannered. She knows some basic commands and is a quick learner. Her adoption fee is $300.(fully vetted, chipped, tax deductible and she will go home with a bed, food and supplies to help her settle in to her new home.) She is 2 years old and about 45 pounds.
