This little one has been with us for a bit. She is still awaiting her spay appt but behaviorally she is doing much better and finally ready for lifelong family. Tiny was found after the 2011 flood and has been an elderly woman's companion dog until she could no longer provide for her. It took Tiny some time to adjust to our busy household and she hasn't fully. She is amazing with the other dogs and absolutely wonderful with children. It's adults she struggles with a little still. She loves to play with toys and other dogs her size. She ignores bigger dogs and ignores cats. She took a while to enjoy going outside into the fenced yard unleashed as she was used to being leashed for outside time. Now she seems to enjoy it! But not for long before she is ready to come in. Oh and Tiny LOVES car rides. That is finally how we broke through to her was to take her on a ride. She was like a totally different dog. She plays fetch with herself and is really quite a clown and full of personality. Tiny is an estimated 9-10 year Pomeranian. She would do best in a home less busy than ours but has been wonderful with children, other dogs, and cats. -------'%90--'%90---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Intake Date: 4 Oct 19 ----- Breed: Pomeranian ----- Age: 10 yrs ----- Size: 7 lbs ----- Status: Owner surrender ----- Compatible with: dogs, cats, children ----- Suitable for: home with fenced yard, apartment with adequate exercise ----- Medical/Behavioral Needs: none noted ----- -------'%90---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If interested in meeting and potentially adopting please read the adoption requirements and complete the adoption application located at forbellessake.org.
