About Nora

Meet Nora! Nora is 14 week old redbone coonhound/mastiff mix that weighs 23 lbs. Nora has a more reserved personality, enjoys playing with her fur siblings, and is extremely loyal once you gain her trust. Nora likes chewing bones and chasing after tennis balls. Nora shares toys well with other dogs. She is working on house and crate training. She went her first night without having an accident in her crate! There are no cats in her foster home. Nora is great with kids and enjoys running around with them. She is working on basic commands and is learning to walk on a leash. She LOVES car rides. Nora is not spayed (due to her age), up to date on vaccines, and is being fostered in New Freedom. We are PA Caring for K-9's, an all-breed dog rescue that is solely run by volunteers. Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. If the dog is posted, they are still available! Once arriving, these dogs enter foster homes, as we do not have a shelter. We cannot adopt out dogs to a home with dogs that are not fixed or up to date on shots. If interested in adopting please submit an application online at www.pack9rescue.org. Our adoption fee for altered dogs is $300 and goes directly to saving the lives of more dogs. Our adoption fee for unaltered puppies will be $350 which includes a refundable $50 deposit upon receipt of spay/neuter certificate.
