What a very sad day when beautiful Gracie and her siblings were surrendered to the shelter at no fault of there own. Sadly her human mom has Alzheimer's. Gracie and her sister both were surrendered with masses on their chest. When you get this message the day before Thanksgiving how can you not rescue this sweet girl. Senior Alert! Owner Surrender.. Gracie is 12 years old and 49 pounds. She has lived with dogs and cats in harmony. Gracie is super friendly and believed to be housebroken. She does have a breast mass and FOBCAS will sponsor the cost to have it checked out. Gracie will be available for adoption at the Bedford County Animal Shelter. They reopen Saturday from 10am to 2pm. Seniors make amazing companions. Whether you want to relax on the couch together and watch a Christmas movie, or take a leisurely walk, Gracie is your girl!
