We found her tucked away in a cage on a hot day, having been ignored in the shelter for days. It took a while but safe in foster, Misty learned life is not so bad! She is surrounded by other dogs, older children, men and women and she is doing great. Misty is the kind of girl who seems to have a strip of velcro on her, so she is looking for the other half to attach herself to. She is still a little timid, but oh-so-sweet. You will not find a more loyal and loving companion. She is a funny girl; when her foster lays down a shirt or sweater that she has been wearing, she gets it and takes it behind her recliner where she likes to lay. She will take towels that have been folded but not put up yet and take them to her little corner too! Misty is about a year old (and not hyper but) she is active, so good daily exercise will be necessary. She weighs about 50 lbs. Although she is fine when left on her own, we would prefer she has a parent at home most of the day, so if you work outside your house this would not be the right fit. Misty is doing well on house training and with one on one consistent attention she will be all set.
