About Buddy

It is with very heavy heart that I must rehome my 4-year-old ACD/Hanging Tree Cowdog. He is very energetic and loves kids. He'll let our almost 5-year-old climb on him and hug him. Probably weighs about 40 pounds and fixed. Lets you know if strange people or animals are near. He just started wearing a bark collar because too many neighbors let their dogs and cats run loose. Current on all shots. Only reason for letting him go is because he gets defensive when my wife's Great Dane puppy wants to play rough. My wife has the mistaken impression that my 40-pound dog is killing here 100-pound animal. I believe he would fit in best in a family with elementary age children and dogs that aren't puppies. He will benefit from an obedience course to learn to obey others. He has been my best friend since 12 weeks, but my wife's Great Dane takes precedence in order to keep the peace in our household.
