Looking for a sweet end of life for the sweetest dog I've ever known. Mia is an angel and very friendly- couldn't hurt a fly. She is being treated for slow-kill heart worms that needs continuing and can be provided - what I can't provide for her is a home. She was in an environment that was making her very anxious and nervous... I took her out of it, but I do not own the resident I live at and cannot keep her. She is anxious with thunderstorms/fireworks, but just hides under bed- unless locked in a room- she will chew on door or walls. The thunder vest has helped a lot. When I took her in, she was very anxious and scared for two days- knowing her anxious behavior- we tried to comfort her and let her roam the house- no damage. Recently she was ignored when she barked at the door (to go potty) and she chewed the door. Human error- If anyone knows anything about dogs, Mia would be a breeze to care for. She can be quite the stubborn old lady, but is otherwise such a pleasure. She loves mattresses & couches, but has peed in her sleep recently, so we've made sure to keep her on her own bed.
