About Jackson

Jackson, is a soon to be twelve year old, January 2020, Applehead Chihuahua, originally from Georgia but is a world traveler. A few things about Jackson: 1) Jackson is crate and house trained, he is normally crated all day (upwards of 16 hours) with the exception of walks and going outside for his business. He also sleeps in his crate in the evenings, this is our preference due to the newest family addition, previously he shared the bed with my husband and I. 2) He has an average temperament for a chihuahua but once he warms up, he is the sweetest house dog ever! Jackson is crate trained and house broken, although he loves lounging on the furniture! 3) Jackson is in great health for a 12 year old Chihuahua; he is up to date on all vaccinations and teeth cleanings. His minor health ailments are cataracts in both eyes, which are currently non-surgical and we recently found a benign lump on Jacksons belly which was tested and results came back negative. Jackson is also medicated with anxiety medication to help with nipping and we have found great relief with the medication and suppressing the normal chihuahua aggression.
