About Betty

We rescued Betty from an abusive environment and brought her home with us. We took her to the vet and got her current on her vaccinations (vet recommends not spaying until she's two). She did not come with any paperwork. She isn't registered. She has gained some weight and is less timid and scared than she was but she's still very, very submissive. Betty is the absolutely the best dog that we have ever had. She is sweet and loving all the time. If you are hanging out on the couch- she's happy hanging out on the couch. If you're going for a short walk- she's happy going for a short walk. She just wants to be with her people. She no trouble at all. We have a dog door so she lets herself out and lounges in the sun for a bit and seems to enjoy that. We are a military family so with an uncertain future, we feel it may be best to provide Betty with a certain one now that we know she is well and happy. We are positive she loves dogs and children. We have a smaller GSP, a four year old and a newborn. She is amazing with all three. We had to pay the previous owners for them to let us remove her from the situation and we paid her first vet bills. That comes to a little more than what we're asking for an adoption fee. We love her tremendously and this is a very difficult decision. We only want her to go to a good home. Please email a little about yourself and your home.
