About Ava

Look who's coming for dinner?! This is not a happy time for Ava. Her owner of the past 2 1/2 years, just passed and left zero provisions for Ava. She was such a stellar girl. She's looking for her owner, and his brother can't keep her home. She's lonely and bored. Her company is her owners elderly mother, who would love to keep her, but really isn't able to care for herself, and the brother of the owner, has no time for her. Ava uses their dog door, and sleeps on her couch, and is very content with her people. But since her one dedicated person is no longer, she is cruising, maybe looking for him... anyway, it's dangerous for her. Ava was an easy keeper with an hour or so of exercise, and plenty of dog interaction. Not a lot of face time with me is available and she made due with what I gave her. I guess it's back to the drawing board. But Ava is so good with people, dogs, even cats. Great off leash and a good girl when she has to be leashed up for vet visits, etc. She leaps in the back of a truck like it's no thang! She's been going on walk about, by herself every day since her owner passed and she doesn't bother the cows and goats she's in and among. But this is not a way for a dog to live. It is a good way to get shot though. Ava is about 4 years old now. Will you be her forever home?
