About Pheonix

Pheonix is a very handsome boy of about 8 years and he weighs 14 pounds. A calm, submissive boy, Pheonix is looking for love! Pheonix loves to play! He very much enjoys playing with the other dogs in his foster home in Alabama and he would like a home with another dog who would enjoy play time with him. Pheonix simply shines around other dogs and makes friends easily! Pheonix is wonderful with people and children of all ages. He has not been tested with cats. This handsome boy is submissive and would like a home where he can receive lots of love and attention. He would love a home where he can sleep in the big bed with his people. He does have some slight separation anxiety and wants to be with his people as much as possible. Pheonix has never met a stranger and has the most loving temperament. He simply wants to be loved! Pheonix's favorite thing is a neck cuddle! Pheonix rarely barks and is such a calm boy. He does need to be carried up and down stairs and should have a ramp for couches and beds for his safety. Pheonix is crate trained and house trained. He does well on a leash and would love a home where he could have a yard to run and play in! Pheonix does have some environmental allergies and he is being treated with Apoquel and artificial tears and has responded wonderfully with this medication.
