About Hayden

Hayden! Between her ears which seem to have a mind of their own, and her long legs Hayden is like a mix between a baby deer, super model and a dog! She is around 1 year old and likely some type of pit/terrier mix. Hayden was initially adopted through a local shelter and spent a year in a home before being returned. It appears that her family did not do too much socialization and training with Hayden and she can be a bit fearful and unsure in new situations and with new people. As soon as she realizes someone is a friend she is affectionate, sweet and goofy. She would benefit from a family who understands she is an oversized puppy and will work with her on training and help her catch up on the early lessons she missed. She has so much potential, we promise you won't be disappointed. Hayden loves all other dogs, big and small, and might even do well with a canine companion to help show her the ropes. She has been non-reactive and uninterested in cats, but we can further cat test her. Hayden is good in a crate. She is spayed, vaccinated and up to date on basic vet care.
