Liam is a 1-1/2-year-old mixed breed. The vet says he is a catahoula hound mix, resulting in his blue eyes. He's tall, but not long and has a narrow body, He is about 55 pounds. I've had Liam since July 2018 (he was born around May 2018) and have been working with him around cats for as long as I've had him, but he is still attacking my cats on a regular basis. He is good on the leash, he is very smart and knows some commands, he is very good with humans and with other dogs, but he is irrational around cats. At best, he plays too rough and at worst he flat out attacks and has to be pulled off. As he is young, he still has a lot of energy and needs to run a lot. He was once crate trained, but hasn't been crated since he got a sibling over a year ago. He will have separation anxiety and will whine and cry for a while so he needs somebody with patience. Pending finding a new home, I am going to begin crate training again and will be taking him to obedience classes to work on off-leash training. He's a looker, and a sweetie pie, but I have 4 cats and will always have cats in my life and he cannot be trusted with them so I would like to find him a more appropriate home while he is still young. Liam is chipped, neutered, and vaccinated. I think he would be very happy in a home with another dog and with kids, definitely one or the other to play with. NO CATS!
