She is approx. 9yr. Her adoption fee is $60. She has been vetted and spayed. Rorie's family saved her from a bad situation around age 5. Over the years they have adopted a few more dogs and cats. They have been trying profusely to keep her happy but she really wants to be an only pet. They are selflessly 'letting her go' so she can lead a life with no stress. PETS ARE FAMILY MEMBERS. THEY DIDN'T DUMP THEIR RESPONSIBILITY, THEY GOT HELP! PLEASE GET HELP IF YOU CAN NOT KEEP A PET. MAKE THE EFFORT! IT'S A LIFE! Rorie is the queen of her home, or at least she used to be. The other pets/family members have taken over and this diva is not happy anymore, so she needs to be the only pet. Like a typical cat, Rorie will need time to adjust. After her adjustment period, once she feels at home, she will wake you up every morning with happy meows and paw pats to say good morning%BD'%BD|and for her canned food breakfast treat. She loves to cuddle on the couch or on the bed and will start purring almost immediately and take a nap with you. She will greet you at the door with meows to say hello and for dinner. Her favorite treats are shrimp, the kind people eat, cat treats or in her food, she is not picky! She will go crazy for them, even sit and twirl for them. Dusty litters make her sneeze a lot so a low dust unscented litter would be beneficial to her ie Arm and Hammer Clump and Seal, Dr Elsey's Precious Cat or check on Chewy.com. She loves to play with paper bags, boxes, her stuffy toys, laser light and catnip as well as interactive toys like feather on a stick and shoe lace drag as well as the Fling ama String and the $2 'cat dancer' toys. She loves a rectangle corrugated scratcher that lays flat on the floor and a tall cat tree sitting in front of the window with the sun rays beaming in. She does have a sensitive tummy so her new family needs to be careful what foods are given to her or else she may spit up. Rorie is a hilarious, fun, cuddle bug, goofy, couch potato, friendly, loving, supportive, comforting, and the purrfect best friend to have by your side. She will expect to share your bed. She has been free fed quality hard food (the first ingredient beginning with meat) and gets can food morning and night. Below information is for preventative purposes%BD'%BD| Too many male AND female cats are getting the UTI - urinary tract infection and crystals in their urine. It's a blockage, it's painful and if ignored will lead to death. Vets say the hard food is at fault because it does not deliver enough liquids. It's simple to monitor. Just make sure there is at least one good size pee ball in the litter box a day. Kitty fountains are effective to help manage a cats fluids. A diet of good quality canned food pate is better than dry food however there are some dry foods that are pH balanced and help maintain Urinary Tract - UT health like Blue Buffalo, Purina Pro Plan, Purina One UT health, Iams UT health. AVOID FISH! Cats/Kittens are an 18 year commitment! They need a cat tree, love and an inside home ADOPT Rorie Ruffles FOR LIFE!
