About Khaleesi

Khaleesi is a 40 pound Walrus. She was born March 21st, 2018. A Walrus is the designer name for a Bassett Hound/Shar Pei mix. She is a playful, happy girl and would be happy as an only dog or with a playmate her size. Khaleesi is learning her basic commands and would really love to go through a basic obedience class with her new people. She is smart and learns quickly. Khaleesi would love a fenced yard so she can safely run and play. Khaleesi came into rescue as an owner surrender. She was purchased for thousands of dollars from Pet Land in Iowa City and her family no longer has time for her. Khaleesi is house and crate trained, up to date on vaccinations, spayed, heartworm tested and microchipped.
