About Stewie

Domestic Cat
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

Stewie is an interesting creature. He is a 2-3 year old male neutered large gray tabby, 15 pounds. He is overall a very sweet and affectionate cat, on his terms. He will bite if provoked. But then he will kiss your face and chew on your hair. He is not shy at all, is silly and dominant, and still acts like a kitten. He is obsessed with catnip and loves climbing and perching on tall cat trees. He was a stray that potentially was abused. I don't think he will be a good fit in a home with children. He will talk back to you, and express his dislike for you telling him what to do. He gets along well with other cats. I don't have dogs so I'm not sure how he'd do, but likely fine. Stewie is a healthy boy, very active, loves to chase laser pointers and is very well behaved about scratching only on scratching posts. He needs an experienced cat person that can handle his quirks and truly love him for who he is. He does obey and respect a squirt bottle if he does try to bite you. He feels bad and will cower. I think in the 6 months he has been in my care, he has made major improvements in his attitude. We tried to see if he'd appreciate being an indoor/outdoor cat again, but he wandered off and went missing for 3 months. A good Samaritan found him and he made his way back to me, appreciating life and a full bowl of food since. Who knows what he got into while outdoors for 3 months. He is neutered, FeLV/FIV negative, FVRCP, FeLV, and rabies vaccinated, dewormed, and current on Revolution parasite prevention. Reach out to us if you'd like to know more about stewie or to meet him and see if he might be the right match for you. He is one of a kind for sure, and I truly love him. Sincerely, Stewie's foster mom
