About River

[Read About Natural Incontinence Care] River is a very sweet four year old Australian cattle dog that loves to cuddle and will do anything for a treat. She is great on and off leash and is highly food motivated. She enjoys hiking, playing fetch (with balls and frisbees), has gone tent camping, and likes to splash through shallow water. River knows basic commands and is house-trained. She completed basic and intermediate obedience training. River gets along great with the dog she lives with, but can be nervous/selective around other dogs and has gotten in scuffles with other dogs. She doesn't like cats and she isn't good with young children (would do best in a home with children over the age of 8). She is great with adults and loves interacting with her humans. River is generally quite healthy. She has to take a pill 3 times a week to prevent bladder leakage. The pills prevent the leakage entirely and are $40 for three months. The owner is willing to buy the next refill. A leash and harness will also be provided. River's owners are utterly heartbroken to let their sweet girl go, but they feel they can't give her the happy life she deserves as they must constantly separate her from the small children in their home. She deserves a loving family in search of a snuggly hiking buddy.
