Courtesy Post - Contact Lucky Paws Rescue at [email protected] My name is Agnes and they say that I am a 4 to 5-year-old bully mix. I am a healthy girl who has been spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. I'm a short, stocky gal'|the perfect size for snuggling! So, here is my story. I was found wandering in a rural, isolated area. A nice woman tried for days to get me, but I was too scared to come to her. She finally caught me by luring me into her dog kennel where her other dogs were'|I really liked the other nice dogs. They made me feel safe. I stayed with them for a few days; this nice woman couldn't keep me, so she called an animal control officer to come get me. I was too scared and wouldn't let the officer near me. I'm not aggressive, I just ran and hid from her. The only way they got me to the shelter was the nice lady put her own dog in her car, so I got in her car, too, and they had to drive me there. I really liked that nice dog and trusted him. While at the shelter, no one came looking for me to claim as their own. The shelter people knew I was scared there, so they contacted Lucky Paws Rescue to see if they would take me. They said yes! I got to leave the scary shelter and stay in a foster home with really nice people and other dogs. I liked those dogs. Then, I was adopted for a short time. There was another dog in the home that I loved instantly. Recently, we have had a couple of fights that I can't explain. Everyone has concluded that we can't really live together. Please take time to talk to Lucky Paws Rescue about more details, they are not giving up on me. I'm not dog aggressive, but for now, it's best I'm the only pet in a home while I build my confidence and learn that I can have my humans be in charge of keeping me safe. Remember, I was a lost and wandering soul before I was rescued. I have showed everyone that I like other dogs--but I don't always read their body language well. I am a super sweet girl who loves to snuggle but still wants to play. In fact, I love to play so much that I just want to carry my balls around everywhere. I will need those tough ones, as the wimpy ones just don't hold up to me. Bring on the Kong toys! I can be unsure of new people-when this happens, I might go in the hallway and peek around the corner at you. I'm never aggressive. I'm kind of funny'|I might do a zoomie around the room at sheer excitement of meeting you, mixed with a little bit of apprehension, and duck behind a wall for a moment. I really need solid leadership as it will give me a sense of security. With routine and stability, I am like fine wine--I get better with time. And of course, I need my new family to be gentle and loving with me also. If you think you could be my new and long awaited forever home, please fill out this application here: http://form.jotform.us/form/50488470409157 I'm currently being fostered outside the Tacoma, WA area.
