About Admiral Atlas

Atlas is an awesome dog! I rescued him from a kill shelter in Texas where he only had 4 days to get adopted or claimed before he got euthanized. I was not ready for a dog, but I am glad that I was able to save him! He loves to be the adventure dog and like any catahoula he needs a job, space to run, and someone to love on. With some effort he is walking well on a leash, crate trained, house broken, and can do the following with some treat motivation: sit, down, stay, circle, drop it, come...but I still keep him on a long leash as he is still distracted by all the things especially other dogs. He is a little mouthy so I am not sure how well he would do with young kids, but he is learning. LOVE this dog, but feel so bad as I do not have the time that he deserves.
