Sugar is a full-figured, 14-pound, 12-year-old Calico looking for a loving guardian. Sugar lost her home when her 92-year-old mom passed away. The owner's daughter tried everything to assimilate Sugar, but she is a one-person cat meant for a one-cat household. Sugar is fearful and has a bit of a bit of arthritis. So, she takes gabapentin and cosequin mixed in her food. She likes to sleep in bed with her human. She is playful, fun and feisty. She has perfect litter box habits, but she will occasionally lash out with a scratch if she disapproves of your touch. She loves to be pet, but only on her terms. She loves to be close to her people and she will do downward cat on her foster mom's yoga mat while she's exercising. Sugar comes complete with a care package of all her medications, favorite foods, treats, and toys. Her current foster mom will provide quarterly grooming and on-going veterinary care for the right guardian - preferably in the Chicago-area.
