Meet Artemis Sweet little Artemis has the cutest little face, but she always looks a bit worried at what will become of her and her ten siblings. Artemis is 4 months old. She and her siblings were born on Sept. 12, 2019. Thought to be a plott hound mix, Artemis is one of the puppies that looks a lot like her gorgeous momma. Artemis is a cuddly butterball and she's smart. She and her siblings have all learned to use a giant litterbox! We are amazed at how quickly they trained themselves. If you're looking for a super sweet and fun little puppy to welcome to your family, come meet Artemis -- and her siblings. You will be so glad you did! Artemis has age appropriate vaccinations. All adopters must complete an approval process which involves a reference check with current/recent vet and a brief home visit if located in the immediate area. We do permit out of state adoptions. Adopters MUST come to the shelter to transport their new family member home. We do not ship nor do we transport them to their new homes. Charles Smithgall Humane Society (CSHS) is a No kill shelter. Animals in our care remain safe with us until adopted. Resident animals are primarily owner relinquished and also accepted from local Animal Control. The facility usually is operating at capacity with a list of animals waiting for space to open.
