SAY HELLO TO ROSIE ! Rosie is a gorgeous 3 year old purebred long haired Chihuahua girl. Weighing in at just a tiny 5 pounds, Rosie came to us through no fault of her own. She was surrendered by her owner as they col no longer keep her. Rosie is an adorable little girl who is looking for a home with a person or family who is willing to have a little patience with her while she gets to know them. She is so sweet but is fearful of new people. Once she knows you, she will be in your pocket forever. She is very little so she cannot jump on beds and most furniture by herself. She barks at strangers who come over but once she is introduced she quiets down and she is not a yappy dog in general. Rosie gets on well with her foster mates and is very low key. She would enjoy the company of a smaller breed dog of like size, age and easy going personality. Her ideal adopting family will be one that has a quieter life style. She has not been around children and does not care for them much, so a home with adults only or adults with older teens would be great. Rosie rides quietly in the car and walks politely on her leash. She will be shy when she greet strangers and will approach them cautiously. Rosie is learning her house training and is improving every day. Please note that like all rescues, she will need gentle guidance and patience as she learns her new family's routine. Rosie is a longer coated breed that will require regular brushing as well as professional grooming every 6 to 8 weeks. Rosie's adoption fee is $ 275.00 This fee includes her Veterinarian Wellness check while here at the rescue, her spay, all vaccinations including rabies and bordatella, de-worming, a pre-adoption professional groom and a microchip with lifetime membership. Rosie will also have a new collar and leash as well as a gift bag which includes among other things, a starter bag of the quality grain free kibble that she has been eating. Her adoption fee also allows us the ability to put funds towards the next little one in need of rescue!
