SAY HELLO TO COMET Comet is a beautiful 2 year old Shih Tzu boy. Weighing in at just 11 pounds, Comet came to us as an owner surrender as his family no longer was able to keep. Comet is a sweet, laid back boy who will be a wonderful addition to almost any family. He is gentle and kind and a bit of loner. He gets along with the other dogs but doesn't interact with them much. He is just starting to play with the other dogs at his foster's home. He is very easy to get along with and does not require a lot of attention. Comet appears to be house trained, but please note that like all rescues, he will need gentle guidance and patience as he learns his new family's routine. He is leash trained, rides politely in the car and greets all he meets with a smile and a tail wag. Comet has had no real interaction with small children or toddlers. For that reason, Comet's family will be adults or adults with kids over the age of 12 who have experience, gentle hands and respect for small dogs like Comet Comet is a longer coated breed that will require regular brushing as well as professional grooming every 6 to 8 weeks. Comet's adoption fee is $ 450.00 This fee includes his Veterinarian Wellness checks while here at the rescue, all vaccinations including rabies and bordatella, de-worming, a pre-adoption professional groom and a microchip with lifetime membership. Comet will also have a new collar and leash as well as a gift bag which includes among other things, a starter bag of the quality grain free kibble that he has been eating. His adoption fee also allows us the ability to put funds towards the next little one in need of rescue!
