About Cody - Re-home ASAP!

Adoption Fee: $50
Bombay
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

Cody needs to be re-homed ASAP due to finances and I need to move soon from our home to a place that does not accept pets. He was raised on a species appropriate raw meat diet, but is being weaned to canned food. If not adopted soon, he will be going to a shelter. He turned 4 y.o. on January 10th and weighs about 17 pounds. He was adopted at 5 months old from a shelter and was also adopted with his little brother (from a different mother). His name is Kyzer (ID: 19-11-29-00190) and he is 2 months younger and is a Tuxedo looking cat. We can be adopted either together or separate. Cody is indoor only, has no health issues and has a good temperament. He is your typical cat who likes to (deep) sleep most of the day away. He does like attention and likes to be in the same room, but not held for too long. He is loving and will keep your lap warm. He can get under your feet so watch where you step. He has a lower activity level, but does like the laser light, some toys, and cardboard boxes to play in. You will definitely know when it is near feeding time as his 'siamese-like' meow will be loudly vocalized. He is trained to sit at meal time. Sometimes he loudly meows when he is bored or wants attention. He likes to be vacuumed and doesn't mind loud noise. He is not too difficult trimming his nails (fully clawed), but he may have to be held a little snug to do so. He does not like to be wrapped in a blanket/towel. He has only been with Kyzer, so I do not know how he would do with other animals. He was exposed to a puppy once and was curious, but didn't want anything to do with him. He had only been around myself and my teen daughter, so I am not sure how he would be with younger children. Overall he is great cat. He is micro-chipped, but the address had not been updated since we moved a couple years ago. He had all his kitten vaccines and at his last vet visit, in April 2019, he was titers tested and still has antibodies for rabies, therefore, he did not need to update his rabies vaccine.
