About Foxy

Foxy is a very sweet companion to her family with lots of love to give. She is great with two young children in the home, and is happy to just relax on the couch with the family. She likes to run though she still needs quite a bit of stranger training. She had a tough start with her current family after a traumatic experience with an intruder led to her being extremely fearful of guests and strangers. She has very good eye contact that helps with training her but has also led to some aggressive behavior if the eye contact is returned. She will especially exhibit aggressive behavior if eye contact is returned by a stranger. Foxy is looking for someone who can spend more time and energy supporting her behavior modification training so that she can live a more anxiety-free life outside the house. Her new home must have a high fenced in yard and ability to put in electric fence if she is able to jump the fence. Her new family should have experience with high anxiety dogs.
