About Ellie

Ellie is a 7 year old Shih Tzu mix weighing 11.6 pounds. She came to us from a high kill shelter in terrible condition. She was completely matted and has a skin infection, which is being treated and already improving. It appears to be allergy related. She seems to have had many litters so she was probably used for breeding and brought to a high kill shelter when they didn't need her any longer. She is a happy little girl and loves everyone. She enjoys going for long walks and appears to be potty trained although we never guarantee that with any dog because everyone has accidents. She is so much happier now that she is groomed. She will be a beautiful girl when her hair grows in but she is already beautiful on the inside as she has so much love to give. Her adoption donation is $250 which includes her spay, vaccinations, microchip, She is heartworm negative and on monthly preventative. Please adopt her and you will see her blossom in no time.
