About Rosa and Peanut

My fabulous friend Gina, who is fostering this pair, has written this about them: 'The Duo This bonded pair belongs together, when they play you can't help but smile. When not attached to you, they are quietly laying together. Rosa is the size of a hot water bottle and will sleep with you like one if you allow her! She is the cuddlier of the two. Next to you, on you, behind you Rosa wants to be close and snuggle. She is the one who is truly affectionate. Peanut - knows his name, I keep calling him Fat Boy but he doesn't listen LOL A bit overweight, he doesn't jump on furniture but will do tricks for treats! Cute tricks, when he sits back with his little legs up he looks like miniature Kangaroo. Peanut is truly sweet and friendly. Together they are quiet dogs, only bark at the door, mailman. They are not housebroken. Rosa and Peanut came from a home that they were inside for 10 years, very stressful environment.... Because of this its important they have a good home with a fenced yard, they love going outside and do go to the bathroom when I walk outside with them. In the house they use potty pads, while I continue to work with them. Both have mastered my dog doors quickly! They are loyal and loving to me (I live alone) and good mannered to company/strangers - not overly friendly but 'nice'. If you want a loving pocket dog Rosa is your girl, and her brother Peanut, well he'll entertain her when you're busy! Together they make one great Duo... We were told they were brother and sister - the vet said they were about 10 years old, middle age for a Chihuahuas. Of course I'd be happy to answer any questions you might have. These are awesome, smart and trainable (seriously food motivated) dogs.'
