About Amy

Amy is a very sweet but little bit timid 3 year old shepherd mix who was found as a stray just outside of Houston. She started out just terrified in the shelter, but now she loves when the volunteers take her out and will shower us in gentle kisses. She is a great cuddler and likes to curl up in your lap. We took her to one of our adoption events just recently, and she was great around all the children, letting them pet her and cuddle her all day. She also walks great on a leash. We think she will be a very loving and devoted pet, but she will need a person or family who can be gentle and patient with her while she gets acclimated. She has a really sweet demeanor once she realizes she can trust you, which doesn't take long at all. She is already spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and heartworm negative.
