About Enzzo

Enzzo is a handsome German Shepard that is learning how to truly be a dog. He is a big 80#, 4 year old baby that wants nothing more than to be near his people. Enzzo LOVES to go for walks and does EXTREMELY well on a leash. He would be a great running or hiking buddy and requires daily walks or activities. He enjoys other dogs and loves to play but hasn't quite figured out the difference in playing with a big dog versus a little dog so a house without littles is best. Puppies tend to stress him out a bit as well. Other dogs help him feel more secure though, so a home with another dog around his size would be amazing for him! Enzzo takes treats ever so gently and is fully house trained. He loves to hang out with his people so much that he gets a bit stressed when he can't be near them and will spin for a little while to cope. Because of this Enzzo would like a home where his people are home more than they are not. He goes right into his crate when asked to but takes a few minutes to settle and accept he can't be with his people all the time. Because Enzzo does have a pretty severe case of separation anxiety, his new family will need to be sure they have a lot of patience and the ability to deal with this behavior. Enzzo is super smart and teaches himself new things like how to open lever doors and that cats are fun to chase... but he hardly ever barks. He enjoys when you sleep in bed with him and will allow you to eat your food before giving him your leftovers. He isn't picky about what shows you choose to watch... as long as you promise to take time to play with and exercise him as well every day.
