About Herbie

Herbie is meeting someone this weekend and we are hoping for a great connection! If you are not a single person who doesn't have a lot of people over to your house this dog is NOT for you. No couples, no families please. Herbie is looking for a single person with not a lot of other people coming and going. He wants to be your one and only. Herbie has a face anyone would fall in love with. He is small at about 25 lbs and is 1 years old. He will stay a small/medium when full grown and is a yorkie/lab mix. We are looking for a very specific home for Herbie. Terriers can be a handful and it is important to use that we place him in the home that is the very BEST FIT for him. So if you are looking for your first dog, or live in an apartment or townhouse, this is not the dog for you, sorry! Herbie would do well in a home with a single person who is home more often than not. We are looking for a home with a fenced yard ideally and someone who is active and social and who will make him be active and social both with people and with other dogs. Experience with the breed is an asset. He is up to date, neutered, micro chipped and current on preventions. Herbie is a very sweet and smart pup but can be strong willed. He would be ok in a home with another dog of similar size and an even temperament, no alphas or super submissives. Herbie is crate trained and potty trained with 24/7 access to a doggy door in his current foster home. He loves to be up with you on the couch and snuggling with you in your bed. Herbie is currently located in Tennessee and the adoption fee is $250. Transportation may be available to out of state adopters for an additional cost depending on the area.
