About Nino

Nino is a sweet but fearful 8 year old Chihuahua. He was rescued with and when another Chihuahua ran in front of our car. We could not leave them in that dangerous situation with an indifferent owner that no longer wanted them when the dogs were offered to us. (The other Chihuahua has been adopted out.) Nino was made to sleep on the front porch in the cold with no fencing for safety. He has gotten a good bill of health except needs dental work with 2-3 extractions. He is up to date on vaccinations now. Nino is lovable and curious. He growls but has not bitten. We believe he is grumpy due to his teeth. Nino is scheduled for surgery for dental work and to be neutered on 01/23 and will be available for adoption after he recovers. We cannot keep him as we already have a full house with 4 of our own. We believe he would do ok with another small mature dog, but not in a home with young children or puppies. Nino needs a patient new owner/home that will give him time to heal and trust again. Please help us save this sweet little boy. Adoption fee applies to help cover neutering and dental work. If a rescue group can take in Nino, please contact us. We will help and donate any way we can but cannot foster long term at this time. Please help.
