Firecracker is a very handsome and quiet 6-year-old Pomeranian. He is initially shy and timid when meeting new people. He needs a patient new family that will give him time and space to feel comfortable. He enjoys the company of other dogs, taking long naps on the couch, and is crate trained. Firecracker prefers a home without small children, as fast movements are scary to him. His current foster is working on crate-training, potty training, and leash training. Unfortunately, Firecracker suffers from minor collapsing trachea which is very common in small breed dogs, but his symptoms are managed by maintaining a heathy weight and daily oral medication called Cerenia. He is neutered, vaccinated, heart worm negative, and microchipped. Firecracker came from an owner release with almost 50 other Pomeranians. He is $250 plus TX sales tax with an approved application: www.recycledpomsbcs.com/adopt Texas law requires that all humane organizations (Rescues, SPCA's, Humane Societies, State nonprofit, and charitable 501c3 exempt orgs) collect and remit sales and use tax to the Texas Comptroller on their adoption fees.
