About Coach

Adoption Fee: $60
American Bulldog mix
Age: Adult
Sex: Male

Coach is a wonderful older gent. He wants to live a peaceful. cozy life filled with love and contentment. He's fabulous on leash. He's a big boy at 76 pounds but is very easy to handle because of his gentle ways. Although he has been good with other dogs, he doesn't respond well to barking excitement so we think he should be the only canine kid. It's also reported that he is good with cats and horses. He has a love for people in general. He is laid-back, sweet, lovable, and gentle. He mostly loves to lay around and relax and he will play ball when in the mood. He will chase the ball but once he gets to the ball he's not quite sure what he supposed to do with it. He will stand there and look back at you. He loves to go on walks. Coach does not like being alone. When left alone he displays anxiousness by chewing on his tail but he has not been destructive at all in a foster home. He take treats gently, sits, shakes, and is completely housebroken. He is learning the stay command. He's an older boy (around 7+ years old or so) so his energy level is higher in the beginning of the day and lower as the day goes on. He likes to sleep In the bedroom at night, but does not get on the bed. Honestly, the only negative thing about him is that he sometimes has anxiety when left alone. No destruction, but he will drool and bite at his tail. He's an all around great dog and will be a great companion to someone. Citrus County Animal Services, 4030 S.
