McMuffin had a rough start in life. She was abandoned in a McDonald's parking lot. She was a little thin, had an obvious eye injury, but was otherwise healthy. We consulted with a feline eye specialist and concluded that since she was blind in the eye, it would be best to remove it to prevent any future complications. She has not missed a beat since she had the surgery! Like all torties, she is confident, friendly, curious, playful, and very affectionate. She gets along well with kitties of all ages and absolutely adores being around people. Legend tells us that torties are good luck charms. People in Southeast Asia believe that torties came from a goddess. In Japan, torties are believed to keep ghosts and unwanted spirits away. In the USA, we believe they are money cats and will bring good fortune into your home. McMuffin is wonderful kitty, looking to bring love and good fortune to the lucky family who falls in love with her.
